American Flag Coloring Page
The stars and stripes waving proudly. Count the stripes as you color — there are 13.

How to use this coloring page
- Print it. Regular printer paper works fine; slightly thicker paper is nicer for markers.
- Pick your tools. Chunky crayons for toddlers, colored pencils for kids working on control, markers for bold color.
- Talk while they color. Name the colors out loud, count the shapes you see, and ask what happens next in the picture's story.
- Show it off. Fridge, wall, or a photo to grandparents — finished art deserves an audience.
Make it a tiny learning moment
Coloring quietly builds the same hand muscles and control kids later use for writing. While your child colors the american flag, try one of these: ask them to color one part with their "other" hand just for fun, practice naming every color before it's used, or count the round shapes in the picture together.
Did you know? The 50 stars stand for the 50 states, and the 13 stripes for the first 13 colonies.
